About the Project

Lund is a family owned specialist engineering and construction surveying company, originally known for their work in construction and earth moving. After initially launching a fresh, modern identity to reflect their shift into surveying, they soon realised that their heritage played a crucial role in their reputation. While their services had evolved, the trust and recognition built over decades in construction remained integral to the business.

The challenge was to create a contemporary identity that reflected Lund’s current focus, while still tapping into the legacy that carried decades of goodwill and trust in the sector.

We designed a brand identity that honoured Lund’s past while embracing their future. Central to this was re-introducing two signature elements: the vibrant blue long associated with the Lund name, and the bold, heavyweight letter forms reminiscent of their original logo. These gave the brand a sense of strength and continuity, while the clean, geometric design added modern precision. The colour palette balanced the rich blue with neutral tones, creating a dynamic yet professional visual identity that works seamlessly across all touch-points.
